The NON-PROFIT Teen Classes are funded through sponsorships and donations made by area businesses and organizations. Sponsors are recognized in any media granted during the classes.  For  more information on how to be a SPONSOR, call 601-482-8892 or email CHolloman@streetdefensivedriving.com

Our 2019 schedule is shown on the drop-down dates listed on the registration form, and the space is filled on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis.  Please register early, and mail your $150.00 payment to STREET'S DEFENSIVE DRIVING, 9325 Hwy 19 North, Unit D Collinsville, MS  39325 or call 601-482-8892 to make a credit card payment over the phone to guarantee your spot. Credit card payments will incur an additional $4.50 charge.  YOUR SPOT WILL NOT BE SECURED UNTIL WE RECEIVE PAYMENT.  These classes fill up quickly.

The safe driving skills taught to these young drivers are similar to those taught to Law Enforcement Officers. Students are subjected to every possible situation they may encounter on our roadways, all in a controlled environment. Some of the course topics included are vehicle integrity, attitudes of driving, body posture, vehicle dynamics, crash avoidance, anatomy of a crash, proper steering, braking, and acceleration. The students learn the dangers of distractions (cell phones, passengers, etc.), as well as the simulated effects of driving while intoxicated. It is one thing to TELL a new driver about dangers, but in this course, they EXPERIENCE those scenarios and are taught how to react in a safe manner.

These classes are held at the the MCC Workforce Development on Highway 19 North, Meridian, MS.  Please be sure to complete registration and make $150 payment two weeks before class to assure your spot. You will receive an email from us including information and forms.  Your teen may return the signed release forms on the first day of class.  Students need to take into consideration any weather conditions while attending the class and bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, etc. due to a large portion of this class being held outside on the driving track.  Class will not cancel due to rain.  A student MUST have a permit/license to participate.  Student will need a vechicle for all three days.  Sharing vehicle for driving with another student will require a permission form turned into Instructor first day of class.

Class begins at 8 a.m. and ends appx 4 p.m each day.  We will email the email address on your registration the forms and entire class information.  Please print the forms, and a legal guardian must sign where applicable. Please have your student return the signed forms the first morning of class.
